Are You Too Scattered to Succeed? May 30, 2007

Do you ever wonder why you aren’t moving ahead in life despite everything you’re doing to get there? You might be too scattered to succeed. Your attention may be spread out over too many things. You’re worried about your family, caught up in your relationships, hounded by your bills, chasing after a paycheck, and hung up on yourself. You’ve got too much going on to see what’s really going on.
Having your mind pulled in so many directions is keeping you from moving toward the things that are really going to bring you fulfillment in life. When you should be taking several steps toward you God-given destiny, you’re taking one step in several different directions and going absolutely nowhere. Once you come to the place where you’re ready to cut away the unnecessary fillers and focus on who you were meant to be, you will find out who you are and how to get where you really want to go.
What are some things in your life that you can cut back or cut out all together? What things are robbing you of your time and resources instead of contributing to your purpose? Evaluate your life and ask yourself a question: Am I satisfied with the results of my life thus far? It’s time to focus your energy on what matters the most.

Well Dr.Dream, I do feel like I’m going in several directions at once sometimes. It’s hard to sleep at night because my mind is always racing. I don’t do well in silence either. I do know I’m a hand-on, creative person and I need things that require me to create something to get the passion juices flowing. I’ve just started a new job, that requires lots of organization (UGH), but also allows me to be creative (marketing). I pray the loose ends of my life will be knit together into a beautiful tapestry that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD through this new adventure! Wonderful and inspirational website.
